PART-TIME VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
Blessing Box Ministry Nonprofit, Inc. is seeking dedicated, passionate, and reliable individuals! Bilingual volunteers are a plus. Must be able to work at least 1- 3 days a week; four (4) hours a day (10:00am-2:00pm OR 2:00pm- 5:00pm).
Available positions include sorters, distributors, office assistant, housekeeping, and yard maintenance. Volunteers must have transportation and flexible availability. We are asking that only serious-minded individuals, above the age of 21 to inquire.

FOOD BANK SORTERS/DISTRIBUTORS
Job Description
Must be able to lift 30lbs
Inspecting, sorting, and categorizing donated food for distribution
Delivering food to program beneficiaries
Keeping shelves organized, clean, and well-stocked
Bagging food items and loading and unloading food truck deliveries
Implementing food hygiene standards
Supporting food drives and pickups
Helping with special events that may take place off-site
OFFICE ASSISTANCE

It is our dedication to assist individuals who have fallen into hardship by aiding them with their essential daily living needs, as well as educational workshop to get them back on the right track.

Blessing Ministry INC, originally named Ministry in Action, is a non-profit organization that was started by four faithful men and women of different churches. All with the same desire and view. These four men and women would minister the Word of God to those of various backgrounds while also providing food and clothing for those in need. Years later, the ministry grew and moved from the church setting. in 2018, a new name was created and Blessing Box Ministry, Inc. was born. We are a Non-Profit 501-c organization. Founder Belinda with team of faithful members and volunteers continue to serve the communities of the eastern part of North Carolina with food distribution, clothing, and financial donations.

BBMN Inc. distribute food boxes weekly, helps with utility assistance (heating and electric), distribute back-to-school supplies, conduct fundraisers, operate a thrift store, as well as assist families who have lost a loved one, whereas we provide clothing for the deceased. On any given day you can find one or more of our volunteers at our center, available and ready to assist you with a need. We also sponsor workshops and seminars to help educate the community in areas that will help improve their health and living environment.

Blessing Box Ministry Nonprofit Inc. believe that providing a hand up towards the livelihood and educational needs of the community will establish a strong diversified foundation. It is our goal to assist as many families as possible through the benefits of nutrition, financial assistance, tutoring, and educational workshops to build a bridge of restoration and stability.

Our team are made up of spiritually connected, faithful, committed, positive believers in Christ. It is our desire to be instruments for giving hope and help to the communities that we serve. We are not focus on just being a center for handouts; but more so, we believe in giving a "hand up". Therefore, we not only provide where there is a physical need, but we also pray for guidance when there is a spiritual need. To God Be the Glory!
